Sandy Moore
Canadian Artist
Inspired by the landscapes, seasons, and everyday beauty of Southern Ontario,
Sandy Moore creates artwork that captures a sense of place, memory, and connection. Working primarily in watercolour and graphite, her paintings reflect a lifelong appreciation for the character of Canadian landscapes and the beauty found in ordinary moments.
A lifelong artist, Sandy began developing her craft while raising her family in downtown Burlington. She studied art at Sheridan College and built a thriving commission-based practice, creating watercolour paintings and pencil portraits for local families and businesses.
Her work was featured in local art shows, and her passion for observation and composition was further enriched through her interest in photography.

Learning Through Every Stage
While pursuing a successful career in real estate, Sandy never stepped away from her artistic journey. She continued to paint, study, and explore new techniques through courses and workshops, including training at the Dundas Valley School of Art and training from artists she admired.
During this time, she expanded her practice into oil painting while continuing to refine her artistic voice.
Today
Today, Sandy has returned to her first love of watercolour and is experiencing a renewed period of creativity and inspiration. Painting almost daily, she finds endless subject matter in the landscapes and communities that surround her.
Whether capturing a quiet shoreline, a country road, a cherished family property, or a fleeting moment of light across the landscape, her work reflects a deep appreciation for the places that shape our memories and experiences.
